"When i book somewhere, like everybody else i read the comments and probably like everyone you look at the negatives first. The more i read them the more i wanted to stay here. So if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all ammenties under 3 years old please dont come here. This wonderful 400 year old pub is full of quirky, the floors creek and are not all spirt level flat, the plumbing babbles along at its own pace but hot water comes and the shower got me clean. "Needed a stay over for a friends birthday party, was recommended the Queen Philippa, I can understand why, it ticked all the boxes along with such friendly, helpful staff. Only slight negative which didn’t affect me was the small parking area, but to counter that they do have electric hook up which I didn’t need, but worth pointing out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and if the need arises would stay there again. "
