"The property manager was lovely and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of at all times. Very sweet traditional style cabanas with a small kitchenette, air conditioning (a must), and shower. Fresh water tubs with a fresh habiscus flower each day to wash the sand off of your feet. Our room was compact and comfortable. Nice beachfront a few steps away for sunrise in the morning. Placencia beaches are not the most swimmable. Nice walking area with shops and restaurants that feature local fare. We enjoyed the live entertainment at the restaurants next door. Overall, very nice and a good value."

"We had the most incredible week in Placencia staying at the Island Breeze Villa. The management company, Gecko Vacation Rentals, saw to our every need and we could not have been more impressed with the house and service we received. The house itself was perfect for our group of 9 adults (with 2 adults sharing the bunk room, wouldn't recommend it for more adults than that) - there were tons of areas to spread and hang out, with the beach/volleyball court in the yard and patio at ground level, tons of room in the main level to eat, play games, and hang on the patio, then the upstairs level with the pool, bar, and furniture was the place we spent most of our time. The views are absolutely incredible - true paradise! We loved how the place was on Placencia Caye, so there was a bit more privacy, but Placencia town is only a short boat ride, paddle board/kayak, or swim across the way. "
