"From the warm welcome at the airport pickup, to the friendly and wonderful front desk staff, to the beautifully maintained ground and our very comfortable and classy room this stay was 5 star. Highly recommended and we really enjoyed our stay! Excellent location to find cute coffee shops, little stores and great dining options all steps away. The restaurant on site is also very good and we enjoyed both lunch by the pool and a lovely rooftop breakfast. Can't wait to go back! "

"The overall appearance of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome sign, and received a complimentary drink upon being taken to our cabana. The manager Valerie was wonderful and recommended a waterfall for us to visit that elevated our experience in Belize. There is a restaurant, bar, cafe, as well as kayaks, bikes and guest parking. One con was the distance- it’s a while away from where all the activities, restaurants and shop hubs are; about a 25-30 minute drive. Another issue we encountered were big bugs finding their way into in our cabana so if you have a fear of bugs like us that’s something to keep in mind."

"We loved the boutique aspects of the resort. It was small but has the big resort amenities. Comfortable and updated Villas, grounds were clean and well taken care of, the staff was gracious and very attentive. We ran into the owner a couple of times and he was very friendly. We loved this place and will plan to go back in the near future. "

"Staying here was by far one of the best vacation experiences. The hospitality was amazing. Dion, Natalie, Locho, and everyone else that we met while On property went above and beyond the normal. I can’t recommend Chabil enough and will definitely be coming back! "

"Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. "

"Had lots of little bugs in our villa. Could use a few more railings as floors get slippery when wet. Food was excellent. Beach was beautiful but found a few glass and plastic bottle pieces in sand, Not good for bare feet. 2 lovely and clean pools for non sea swimmers. Would recommend this resort."
