"Accommodated 7 adults well with 4 bedrooms a nd three full baths. The deck was really nice and large. Our dog liked it too. The downstairs bathroom was convenient but the pocket door was difficult to move. The sink faucet was cute but loose. Lights and bedding on first floor could be updated.along with mattresses. Towels were nice.. Couldn’t use fireplace. One of the property photos gave impression it was on the river. Were able to get pizza delivery from Wrightsville that was great!"

"The house was beautiful. So secluded and quiet. The kitchen had everything. Very clean yard well kept. Very detailed in everything. Fire pit was great, wonderful screened porch to sit on at night. Outside games and seating and chairs for outside available. My daughter got married at Hummingbird Chateau. We rented the house for the family to stay in for the time we were there for the event. So convenient to everything. Loved it!"

"This home was just perfect! It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location to travel to the theatre and shops during our stay. Our family of 10 had plenty of room to hang out, play games, and sleep. Even took a morning walk along the lake front. Definitely would come again! "

"What a beautiful house. From the wood floors,to the wood work around the house and the build in cabinets. The house made me feel like home. I spent so much time on the front porch swing. I just wish it was turned looking out towards the road. Having my back to the neighbors was odd. Especially when they were talking to you. Which brings me to the neighbors. What a great group of people. Made me feel welcome by talking to me whenever we were both outside. The one thing I would change is the curb...

"This is our third time visiting the Mill House and the reason is simple: it is consistently always clean, quiet, relaxing, and a beautiful place to spend a sunny weekend. We enjoy coming to the Mill House when we want to "disconnect from reality" an recharge. This visit, we made sure to make it and hike some of the great trails in the area which there are many. We'll definitely be returning again in the future."

"no functioning smoke detector. furnace could not maintain home at 68 degree temp with outside temp only 26 degrees. drains either leaked or didn't drain. toilets did not flush well. water company taped 3 day shut off notice to door 2 days before we checked out. nice older neighborhood close to family that we were visiting so we suffered thru. this is a dump of a fixer-upper on the real estate market. avoid this property."

"Compact, comfortable, quiet historic townhouse. As the groom’s parents, we needed a quiet location that would allow us the ability to help with logistics. This delightful location allowed us to help when needed and relax in between. Paul (host) is next door for questions and assistance. Add the history of the area and you have magic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"It was a very nice home. If you have littles then you might not want to stay here lots of glass. We had some minor issues towards the end of our stay Lisa took care of them the best she could. I would stay here again."
