"This property makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are close to so much! Host left snacks and beverages in the fridge. Felt very comfortable here! We didn’t get to enjoy some wine by the campfire, so I’m hoping we can stay here another time!"

"The home was old but served its purpose well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little further from the Gettysburg battlefield than I would have preferred but it was the closest I could find that offered 4 beds which we needed. "This place is lovely. It feels very rustic and tucked away, but it is so close to so many things! Everything about the place itself was so intentional. We loved the record player, the gas fireplace, the fan/space heater in the bedroom! We had a small issue upon arrival, and the host was so responsive and accommodating - it just made us enjoy the stay more!! One thing to note - and this didn't bother us at all (we slept SO well) - is that there is some overnight truck traffic on the bridge behind...

It was a very short drive to the Battlegrounds and Gettysburg..The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found the sunroom to be the perfect spot for our Bible reading.
