"What I liked was it was a Family operation. I often prefer this over a Marriott. I was close to the main street without being on it and the accompanying noise. I liked the Breakfasts with the Fruit Bowl. That was surprisingly good. There was a storm and Wi-Fi was down for a couple days. "The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience."
