"Lovely stay. Fully equipped room. Very quiet and only a short walk from the cathedral, museum and shops. Menu choice very good. Lovely restaurant overlooking the river."

I requested a ground floor room; I was told it would open onto the car park which is in a secure off-street courtyard, but that was actually very convenient for me. Good breakfast. Centrally located in Newbury."

"Room was clean with a tv with many Channels, kettle, heater, fan, iron, towels and extra pillows. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great, had a bit of everything, was hot and tasty and was being refilled to keep products available. Only one issue which isn’t with the hotel but feel should mention, there is not much parking. ‘Hotel parking’ is also for pay display general public. The parking spaces out front are also very small, you wouldn’t be able to open the door at all to get out of a couple of the spaces leaving them pointless. Spaces in the back car park past travelodge are normal size if you can get one."

"Nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff were lovely. The hotel has great facilities but we didn't make use of them this time round due to other plans in the city which is just a few minutes away by cab. Would happily stay again and enjoy the spa and restaurant. Rooms were also very pleasant with some nice compliments. Thank you to all at Voco."
