"This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

"First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. I believe on some days there is now a food truck that parks there. If it is winter, choose housing on the south side of the island. "Large beautiful villa, nice pools, easy access to Hanalei restaurants and great hiking beyond. Nice pools, shops nearby. The island is small so we did the trip to Wiamea canyon as well"

"Cet appartement est très agréable, un T2, très calme, face à la montagne. Il y a un bémol de taille: Il faut aller récupérer les clés de l'appartement, à un endroit différent de celui où on loge. Cela a été très difficile à trouver, le "quartier" a des dédales de rues. Un conseil: il faudrait, impérativement, pour éviter que les gens ne se perdent (et je ne suis pas la seule), avertir les usagers, par Internet, dès la confirmation de la réservation, du détail de la route à prendre, dans les 2...
