"No usb sockets in bedroom if there was only at dressing table Chairs in rooms need cleaning - stains on chairs Parking was not free £10 per 24hours AC thermostat not working was a warm day/ night however they brought to my room a 12 inch desk fan so problem solved all staff were friendly Continental breakfast very limited "

"Quick and friendly checkin. Clean comfortable room, we had 2 double beds in the room and plenty of room to move around. Beds comfy and spare pillows if required. We ate in the Indian Restaurant onsite, the food was amazing and the service from the staff was excellent."

"Great stay in Oxford. The location is a short walk from the city centre and an even shorter walk to the historic Oxford Castle. The staff were very pleasant and helpful any time I had questions. The only downside is occasionally I did get a distant whiff of sewage if the bathroom door was left open. (I blame that on the age of the building.)"

"The Holiday Inn Pear Tree is convenient to Oxford, a short inexpensive bus ride away. Staff are friendly, and the rooms are large and clean. The restaurant is good for all meals, with a hot buffet breakfadt ad an option."

"Very friendly staff, with a warm welcome. Kids got activity packs at check in which was a nice touch. We’d just done a long day at Legoland with an hour of sitting in the car trying to leave (Ascot was on too) so we decided to eat at the hotel rather than go back out again. The food was great! Modern bathroom in the room. Forgot to request a travel cot when booking and they sorted one right away. Kids eat free which is a bonus. Breakfast was tasty, lots of choice and although busy the staff were quick at clearing tables and replenishing food. Would recommend"
