"The room was ok. Comfortable bed and as described. The bathroom likewise although maybe just starting to get slightly tired. But we only had one hand and one bath towel in there - we didn’t notice in the evening, then didn’t have time to ask and wait for any in the morning when we realised so had to just share… "

"The staff were great and room 22 was perfect with a large bed and plenty of space. We ate at the hotel on our second night and the food was tasty and sufficient. However one meal came out cold and had to be reheated. Our waitress did give us a discount for this. On our last morning there was no water, but not the hotel’s fault as a main had burst. Overall a very nice experience."

"There was no heating on in our room when we arrived, and considering it was -2° outside, we expected more the heater in the bathroom didnt work and it was so cold in there that I couldn't have a shower before going out.. I was told it probably hadn't come on yet and she would sort it but the room didnt get very warm at all night.. Apart from that i cannot fault the Jug and bottle the food both for our evening meal and breakfast was excellent great quality and enough choice . The staff are very...

"We loved the hotel and the staff were brilliant. It is on top of The Bull Pub! The pub was lovely, such a great atmosphere. The room itself was clean and a great set up for what we needed with our little boy. The second floor walking up to our room smelt a bit musty but overall the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much choice! Highly impressed by the hotel and service for the price! Will definitely be back "
