"Our stay was relaxing and right off the main road before reaching Toyako. The cabin was very nice and a good size. The food was excellent and the owner very accommodating. If you are looking for a place in town, where you can walk from your room to along the boardwalk and visit shops, this might not be for you. It's a short drive to the town. "This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though."

Toyako Manseikaku Hotel Lakeside Terrace

"The hotel is clean and convenient. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of variety. The Onsen experience was wonderful with beautiful view of the mountains. The room we had was very comfortable for three people. "
