"Beautiful resort overlooking Lake Toya. Booked the private onsen room and it was amazing. Food selection for breakfast and dinner buffet was great as well. 10/10 would come again. "

"Check-in was a little odd using a machine, but there was an employee who helped us. The nearby lake was beautiful, although we didn't have the clearest view from our room. The free sake was fun in the lobby. Breakfast was also tasty. The Japanese-style mattress (futon) could have used a bit more padding."

"The baths (onsen) at this hotel were outstanding. There was a huge variety, including waterslides. Breakfast was good, as well. We were able to park our car here and then walk over to the "hells" (jigoku). We would gladly stay here again."

"Very nice for the cabin in the woods with Toya lake view. I loved the lake view bathroom.The owner manages everything. I bought half-board the food was excellent especially with the wagyu and corn soup."

"Stayed in Japanese Traditional Room with Private Open Air Bath. The pictures on Expedia are a true representation of the accommodation but the stay was even better than anticipated. Kaiseki meal in private dining room was wonderful and showcased a lot of the local food. The tatami room and sitting area in the room was nice and relaxing and the futons were perfectly set by the time we returned after dinner. The balcony onsen was a lovely warm contrast to the chilly wintry air. The public baths were also very clean and had a variety of temperatures for both inside and outside. Very close walk to the temple and Hell Valley. Included breakfast was also very delicious with impeccable service. Sad to have only stayed one night!"
