Whilst quite grand in appearance from the photos the interior is actually a little dated and although there was a lift to our floor we still had a number of steep stairs to negotiate with large suitcases. "We first discovered this place in 2022 - and came back in 2024. Absolutely stunning (falling asleep looking at that amazing original ceiling is an incredible feeling!), beautiful Veronese details in the room design, great toiletries, wonderfully helpful staff, amazingly central location. "I loved my stay here. It was only one night but I was impressed with how helpful the hotel staff is and how hard they try. I laughed out loud reading a review from someone saying they try too hard.
