Possibly because I booked through Expedia, but that shouldn't be my problem, and it really annoyed me. Not a word of apology from the host, again, might be language barrier, but does not show them in the best light. "This place was not as advertised. The pictures led us to believe there would be a kitchen available. However, when we arrived that was not the case. The room was dusty and slightly dirty and surfaces seemed to have not been wiped. The address shown on Expedia once we booked was not the same one at which the host told us to check in and we were not made aware of this change before arrival. The bathroom was clean but the shower was overhead and came down with too much pressure. It barely drained...

Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. It’s strictly business here as not only did they argue with us about the rate, but they insisted on their price rather than graciously backing down and accepting the misunderstanding and benefits conferred...

"Lovely hotel. Grounds are well kept. Breakfast is amazing. Pool and pool area is always clean. Beach hotel is lovely. Not a lot to do for the kids, but I think that’s general for Sardinia. Overall, lovely staff, clean, organised, good food. Location is great as long as you have a car. Close to beaches and close to town square. Honestly can’t fault this hotel. Will go again."
