"Everything went well. I paid £89 for a double room. Room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, but a little of the expensive side @ £16 per head. Parking was easy. The staff were polite and friendly. No complaints."

It was easy to find parking place. In fact i found one right outside the house on every day. Room was great.very clean.in pristine decorative condition and quite. Breakfast was very good. "I like The Copthorne. I left my watch behind in my room recently and house keeping handed it in and I picked it up on my return. Nice staff, clean modern rooms, quiet, great position for town, restaurants and shops, parking, all very good."

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....
