The Mount, 2 ensuite double rooms by The Royal William Yard

New build constructed in 2019. The 2-bed annex is on the ground floor with its own private entrance. There are two large bedrooms both en-suite. one has a 5 ft double bed and the other has two 3 ft single beds. There is a small separate kitchenette within the hallway. The kitchenette (not a kitchen) includes microwave, larda fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, soup maker, omelette maker, china, cutlery, utensils and a sink. There is underfloor heating with settings in every room. There is also an air exchange system for fresh clean air entering the rooms at the same temperature of the old air that leaves through a different vent. The digs are accessed up a private drive with electric gates with private parking at no extra charge. The Mount is a one minute stroll to the very popular Royal William Yard with restaurants, bars and a small ferry to The Barbican. There is also a walk-on ferry (a two minute stroll) which goes across the River Tamar to Cornwall with lovely walks and Cornish villages and pubs.

Great place to explore Plymouth
Lovely rooms conveniently located for Royal William Yard, ferries to Mount Edgecombe, Cornwall, and the Barbican, buses to city, and a short walk to The Hoe. Close to swimming and paddle boarding beach and coastal walks, cycle paths.

Best stay in Plymouth, great value for money.
A lovely, cosy accomadition with everything there, Great hosts on hand if required and set in outstanding grounds a real idlic location to stay. Minutes from Royal William yard with great transport links of boats, buses and taxis is available. Would highly recommend to all that visit Plymouth and definitely will be staying again.

We had a lovely 4 nights in Joanna’s property. The place was warm, clean and spacious. Easy to fine and perfectly situated for enjoying the Royal William Yard, Hoe and Barbican. Excellent location, very clean and large two bed apartment ideal for family visiting Plymouth Royal Dockyard Area. Just simply walk out Apartment right into TheYard where you have easy access to ferry rides to the Barbican. firing exit drops you directly on Devils point where you can swim or simply whatch the world go by

Beautiful accommodation and perfect location
Hosts Joanna and Andrew very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful to make our stay perfect. The accommodation was ideal for what we wanted and being next door to so many restaurants was a bonus. We stayed during the recent heatwave and the accommodation stayed reasonable cool under the extreme heat. Looking forward to staying again.

Heavenly 5 Star Plymouth Accommodation

Great hosts, perfect location for us. We chose The Mount as we wanted to be close to Millbay and the Hoe for the sailing and also near to restaurants for eating out, we didn't intend doing our own cooking, so the kitchenette was fine for us. With Royal William Yard on the doorstep there is no shortage of places to eat, the added bonus is that Cornwall is only a few minutes boat trip away too. We had a great stay, thank you.

Absolutely wonderful.
We’ve had a lovely stay at Joanna’s and Andrew’s beautiful house. Very central to all kinds of beautiful trips. We absolutely advice people to stay there. Mount stone cottage.
Had a great Fantastic stay. Joanna and Andrew are Great hosts, Joanna gave us an upgrade when we got there. The cottage was lovely, quiet and secluded. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, front room with a bar, dinning room and a lovely courtyard. Set near to the Royal William Yard. We were wowed by this property from the moment we jumped out of the car and trod the path to the door. This was better than any 5* hotel we've stayed in and the host was just wonderful. Oh my days
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Plymouth. It's setting is just right, you can tell the property owners love their house and rightly so. Joanne and Andrew are lovely people who care that you have a lovely time there. The property is close enough where you can travel to Cornwall for a day out. Wonderful stay at The Mount
This property was perfect for everything Ineeded..immaculately clean, modern, quiet.. beautifully furnished and supplied with everything in the kitchenette .I even made small cooked meals as there’s microwave a china cutlery etc provided plus welcome tray with cereal tea cookies etc.So close to Royal William yard with fantastic choice of restaurants.. ferries to Cornwall The Barbican and great bus to Plymouth city the bus stop is close by….Definitely recommend and plan to return.Joanna’s a wonderful helpful host she even did my laundry! LOVE this property!!!!

Fabulous place
We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and arrived late-ish Wednesday. Spoke to Joanna on Thursday morning and can't thank her enough for such good communication and friendliness. Accommodation is excellent with all that you need to hand and more. The location is amazing. We went on a ferry/bus/ferry ride on the advice of Joanna and it was AWESOME and I must point out that the Bus part of this journey was an extreme treat, you must try it ;-) Thanks again to lovely Joanna, our stay was absolutely wonderful :-)

Modern apartment in an ideal location.
Friendly welcoming hosts right from the moment of booking, very approachable & there for advice of where to visit. Apartment modern, clean & comfy, perfect to use as a base for those not wanting to cook like me, kitchenette had all we needed. A welcoming pack on arrival for that cuppa after a long journey. Robes & slippers provided for use of the sauna, sadly we ran out of time to use this, so that is another reason we will be back. We were lucky enough to be shown the cottage which is ideally suited for those wishing for a more home from home feel, such as a kitchen, washing machine & outside space. Both properties are accessed through electric gates, giving peace of mind for parking. We will be booking again and will be happy with either property.
