"Four of us stayed in the loft for almost a week. It was very comfortable and very conveniently located. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen necessities. There was only one dishtowel so we had to use a bathroom hand towel which worked out fine. Mattresses are fairly firm and comfortable. "We loved this little house. It was built in the 1890's but is up to date. The location couldn't have been better- walking distance to so many things!The house had everything we needed (although it did take us a long while to find the extra bedding in a wooden box). IF I had to complain about something, I'd say the master bed frame is a little wobbly/squeaky (small issue only) and the lack of shower door/curtain makes one shower get the bathroom floor wet every time (easily wiped up with a...

"This home was absolutely perfect for our stay to see our son graduate at Lackland! It was SOOOO clean and had everything we needed! The neighborhood was clean and quiet. I dont know that we will be in San Antonio again, but we would DEFINITELY stay in this home. You will not regret booking this home!"

"We had a nice day, I was fearful of running out of toilet paper. And there were a limited amount of glasses for the three of us. The coffee maker was a small one for the possibility of four adults in the house. It was difficult to talk to the owner when we couldn’t get in at first because he would only answer emails."

"I went to TX for my brother’s Air Force graduation. The house is only about 5 minutes away from the base. The house was clean. It is more roomy than what the pictures look. The house is pretty well stocked with everything you need, but there are several stores close by to pick up anything else. The host, Christian, was very prompt in answering any questions that I had. I would stay here again. "

"The property was great. It was perfect for our large group. The only complaint was that it was in a less than desirable neighborhood but I think that all the homes near the Alamo are in that area. It does seem like people are buying those homes and fixing them up. I would stay here again because the proximity to the Alamodome was great. "

"The guesthouse was just perfect for our stay! Quiet neighborhood and close to town. "

"The home was nice and exactly as pictured in the listing; the rooms were good sized and perfect for our needs. Great location; close to Wal-Mart and access to the highway. The house is just minutes away from Lackland Air Force Base for families visiting their graduating Airmen at BMT. The street is tight though, so parking can be difficult; I would recommend no more than two vehicles."

"We were attending our sons AF BMT Graduation (in the loop). Very clean, nicely decorated and maintained. The owners thought of everything! Outdoor area has checkers and horseshoes, cornhole and little lights that give a comfortable ambience. "

"Overall good. Few things. 7 bed home only 6 beds. No extra blankets or pillows. Wifi only let certain amount of devices on at a time. Leak in shower. Saw hot tub on the listing didn't have one nor heated pool. No pool towels. "

"Overall, this place is great if you want a convenient spot close to San Antonio's main attractions (River Walk, Alamo, Market Square, etc.). Here are some details to help other travelers: The home is renovated but still older, so the floors and doors squeak. There are no curtains, and with many windows, it might be tricky if you have kids who need complete darkness to sleep. "Absolutely loved our stay at La Luz! The location is unbeatable. Literally a couple blocks from the Alamo and the River Walk. Parking next door made everything super easy but honestly, once parked, we never touched our car again. Area is super walkable and had no issues getting to where we wanted. Couldn’t ask for a better spot to explore the city! Would give 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!"
