"This house. Wow. It’s a beautiful house, but on top of that we saw SO many animals - monkeys galore (capuchin and howler), toucans, macaws, and many other beautiful birds. Fair warning though: With the rainforest literally in your backyard, you will hear lots of animals sounds. Howler monkeys scared us to death the first night until we realized what it was. "This house was amazing for our Costa Rica trip! Groups of monkeys passed through the treetops everyday, so nonstop entertainment for a family from the US. The house was also spacious with air conditioned bedrooms. Its location in Manuel Antonio was perfect. You can walk to the restaurants, shops, grocery store and beach. Walking is a bit difficult with the tiny roads and hills, but doable. I would recommend renting a 4 wheel drive so you can drive to Espadilla Beach, which was much easier...
