"We visited with a group of friends in April for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday and we had an absolutely amazing time. The house: The house is newly constructed so everything is clean and modern. The kitchen was fully equipped with more than enough of everything you needed to cook and feed a crowd. There were towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and 2 bikes available for use which was so nice. The bedding and bath towels were also nice and new and everything was so clean. The pool was very nice...

"Second time in PG. Easy and quick walk to surf shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. 35 minutes to Tamarindo and 15 to Huacas. Hosts are nearby and were very good at communicating and helping us out. Good value. Every room had its own AC which was nice. "

"Jacob (host) was phenomenal. Very responsive on whatsapp to all our questions before and during our stay. He gave us excellent recommendations for beaches (highly recommend Puerto Viejo/Playa Conchal, Playa Real, and Playa Flamingo) in addition to Playa Grande which is a 10 minute walk away. The house is basic, but excellent for sleeping and minimal cooking.As others have said, the road to the house is bumpy and steep, but it's totally fine to drive it with a regular sedan, just go slowly. A nice overhang off the house if you wanted to get out of the sun.
