"No surprises here, exactly as listed. Communication with the Host was always timely. They turned us onto a great transport service to and from Liberia Airport. This place is on the small side but had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The king bed was on the hard side and not the foam mattress we are used to but worked fine. The air con runs all the time and makes some noise but we like some white noise when we sleep. Easy walk to the beach and 3 restaurants....

"Sadly we went during a Tropical Storm but it was still very amazing! The views were amazing and Tony such great help throughout the trip. The only downside to our trip was the construction on the last day and the muddy road but those were minor things. The beds were so comfy. The living spaces were fantastic. Very amazing would stay here again!"

"Views from the balcony are amazing! The condo has everything you could need. Everything was in proper working order and spotless. Exterior is very well maintained. "The agency (Special Places) was very nice, but this unit was on the bottom floor with a view of a roof awning & glimpse of ocean. It’s one of the older buildings in a poorly planned resort area that has no Costa Rican vibe. The interior was dated, sad, and had padlocks on some cabinets. I was so disappointed and asked if there were any other options. We paid $100 more per night & stayed at the Oceanica. "

"We booked a spot in Playa flamingo with the intention of spending our time there. Shortly after arriving in Costa Rica we were advised our booking was no longer available and the company moved us to an “upgraded” stay in a different town. The beach and ocean were not at all comparable to Playa Flamingo and the waterfront had been decimated by the nearby estuary. It was not an upgrade. "

"First of all, the dates above for our stay are incorrect. Our dates were Fe1-February 8, 2024. The Vrbo is in a very nice location in Flamingo Bay. The hallway leading to our rental was deplorable, garbage outside of garbage can; ants crawling. I failed to take a picture. The building itself looks unlivable, the pool area was not usable, filthy. "There were workers in unit replacing lightbulbs etc. so unit wasn’t ready. Check in was hurried and we were left with worker who didn’t speak English to call us a taxi. No taxi came, had to call office. There were no kitchen towels or dishcloth! A cut rate motel has better kitchen ware. The door had a deadbolt which had to be locked with the key from INSIDE also! It was a flimsy door and lock. Didn’t feel secure or safe at all. There is no on-site management. All in all this place isn’t worth...
