We really appreciated that the hotel offered a free shuttle twice a day so that we could go to the grocery store or into Placencia. My husband and I got couples massages at the hotel spa, which were fantastic. Our three teenage kids enjoyed the beach and the pool, and loved playing beach volleyball. "I loved the location of Julia's Cabanas, and also cabana #6 which we stayed in. The cabanas are pretty basic, but also had all things needed such as air conditioning, refrigerator, etc. Shelly was fantastic and helped with anything needed - she's a true asset to the property !! One thing that would be great is if they had more comfortable lounge chairs on the beach and or some nice cushions to make the lounge chairs more comfortable. "
