"Very clean and nicely decorated. The location is in a wonderful location but not very easy to get to. My suggestion is to travel during the day. We had no choice and arrived after dark which made it very difficult to find. If you are bringing your dog, there’s very little property and grass area around villa. The town of Cashiers and Highlands was two really nice towns to visit. Highlands is very pet friendly."

"The house and cabins were perfect! The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We had a family reunion across all ages and everyone had a great time. The owner checked in on us often to make sure everything was ok. The best was arriving and seeing the house and cabins decorated for Christmas! thank you for going above and beyond. We’d love to be back! "

"Our family of 7 women stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful relaxing time together. Plenty of bedrooms and spaces to hang out. Everyone loved the long kitchen table where we enjoyed our meals and played games. We also appreciated having multiple bathrooms and were thrilled to discover that everyone’s beds were extremely comfortable!!!A great place to stay if you want to be close to Asheville conveniences but also feel like you are on a mountain trip! "

"What place to kick back and enjoy the sound of the river wisking by and the crackiling of the great fireplace. We had a group of nine (over 60 in age each) that has gone over 30+ yrs for once a year long weekend trips to Blue Ridge Smokies. This stop was a great place for out group. House was plenty big enough. The owner and property helpers we quick to fix a couple of issues when we arrived. But overall, the old house did us well once we got used to the little qwerks all houses seem to have....

"We would definitely recommend this property. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked. It was a short drive into downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again."

"The property was a lovely place to get away with just the two of us. We enjoyed the sound of the creek running by the duplex and the rustic feel. The internet could be spotty at times. Overall a wonderful place to spend time with each other and enjoy the countryside. "

"The cabin is a perfect couples getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sounds of the creek right next to the cabin. It’s close enough to Asheville and hiking but not too close to be too touristy. The only thing I would mention is that the yard is not fully fenced in like it looks like on the pictures. I specifically had chosen that cabin for that because we were bringing our dogs. And we had some ants in the kitchen but I guess it comes with being out in nature."
