"This was a great little getaway for my family from the holiday hassles. The cozy guest suite was awesome! The suite was close enough to all the necessities but still far enough away to make it feel like you could vanish into the hills. This area was gorgeous, you are situated in the balds or highlands of NC. The weather was rainy and chilly for the first day we visited but the fog rolling down the balds was eerily beautiful. Waynesville has quickly become one of our favorite towns to visit and...

"Had a last minute opportunity to visit my daughter and looked at VRBO since I've always had great luck with them. Got to the property and found out that my room was 1/4 price per night. I paid VRBO more than 4 times what the hotel price was per night. Property was just barely OK. Pool was closed. Breakfast made my daughter violently ill which put a damper on the weekend. Feel stupid and taken advantage of...and yes, I am part of that responsibility so that is why I am writing this review...buyer...

"This is our second stay at this fantastic location. The accommodations are perfect for the two of us; and the hosts are truly kind. We enjoy being close to family but far away enough to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. "

"The location is beautiful. The house was clean. kayaking and canoeing on the lake was amazing. Also rented a boat one morning to tour the tree beautiful waterfalls on the lake. The only issue would have been parking, however the owner was very accommodating. It's best if your able to park your vehicle inside the garage. Great lake front location with beautiful towns nearby."

"It is a spacious studio with an extremely comfortable king size bed. The shower is amazing and parking was safe and convenient. The neighborhood was lovely, safe and quiet. The only issue we had upon our arrival was a problem with gaining access to the unit via the keyless entry door lock. Luckily, the owner's arrived right on time to help us get in. They were very friendly and helpful as the issue was resolved. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again."

"This place is surprisingly even better and bigger than it looks in the pictures! It’s clean and comfortable and comes with just about everything you could need for a fun trip. The owners are super friendly and made sure that we were all set. We used this place for a guys’ trip and it was perfect for the remote vibes and a quick drive to our river tubing and a super easy drive to Asheville! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for the mountain vibes and also convenience to...
