"I’ll be honest in disclosing I’ve visited when the building was used for a retail location, so to see its transformation into a residence was quite a thrill. It allows a glimpse into its former life and still gives a stylish and very functional place to stay a weekend or longer. Cozy areas to sit for a good book or just relax with an appropriate beverage. "You feel like you've walked into a Joanna Gaines home and, yes, tranquil is an accurate description for it. It might be small, but it has everything you need for a long weekend in Blacksburg."

"Easy (country road) 10 minutes to downtown Blacksburg. While we only had three adults on this trip and a small pooch, this home has plenty of sleeping and living space for several more. Indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering together with well appointed kitchen and outdoor cooking area. Highly recommend!"

"This is our second time staying here. My pup loves it! The area is amazing with so much to do and the Yurt has everything you could possibly need. The host is very responsive and helped me out when I had a car issue, giving recommendations of places to go. I would highly recommend this place and the awesome host! "

"This property had everything we were looking for - lots of room for sitting, relaxing and catching up with friends. It is a perfect location to VT, the VT Inn, and Blacksburg downtown. Our visit was during February - so a bit chilly, but in warmer weather the outside patio area would be really nice. We plan to request this property again for our next visit to Blacksburg, Va."

"I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blacksburg for a weekend!"
