"It was really cute even though it’s slanted. Definitely has that old home character. With it being an older home, things like tripping a breaker when the stove is on, washer running and space heaters on, happens. The service guy was great. We enjoyed it. "

"I’ll be honest in disclosing I’ve visited when the building was used for a retail location, so to see its transformation into a residence was quite a thrill. It allows a glimpse into its former life and still gives a stylish and very functional place to stay a weekend or longer. Cozy areas to sit for a good book or just relax with an appropriate beverage. "My husband and I along with our pups visited the Farmhouse for the 2nd time. The owner of home is attentive to his Renters and has equipped the home with everything you may need.The location is convenient to Route 220 and you will have many choices for eating and shopping. The farmhouse was a very nice stay along the BRP."

"You feel like you've walked into a Joanna Gaines home and, yes, tranquil is an accurate description for it. It might be small, but it has everything you need for a long weekend in Blacksburg."

"Easy (country road) 10 minutes to downtown Blacksburg. While we only had three adults on this trip and a small pooch, this home has plenty of sleeping and living space for several more. Indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering together with well appointed kitchen and outdoor cooking area. Highly recommend!"

"My family and I had a wonderful stay! We loved the sunrise out our window that filled the kitchen with so much Joy! The kids loved the huge playground across the quiet cul de sac street. Hubby and I enjoyed the walking trails right next to the home. I would highly recommend this Beautiful home to anyone traveling. Amazing and kind host! If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!!!!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Since our stay fell during the winter and the lake was frozen, I can't speak for the use of the outdoor spaces. However, there was plenty to do inside! The property has a game room which we took full advantage of. The home is well-equipped and very spacious. Loved the layout too. Very clean and a fairly quiet setting. We would definitely stay here again."

"The location was quiet and there’s a spacious area for hanging out and playing games. Plenty of sleeping space! Our dogs loved the fenced in area too. A few trails around the area, easy to get to by car. Would love to visit in warmer season. Only downside was the stairs leading to the rooms, pretty steep so may be unsafe for some pets. Also sleeps 10 but only one shower. The hot water never ran out though! Overall a great experience and very responsive hosts. "

"We had a nice weekend relaxing on the lake. Perfect location for casual fishing, 35 minute drive into Radford and 49 minute drive to Jefferson National Forest Park. Very secluded location. Had all necessary cooking ware to make some great meals at the house!"

"This is our second time staying here. My pup loves it! The area is amazing with so much to do and the Yurt has everything you could possibly need. The host is very responsive and helped me out when I had a car issue, giving recommendations of places to go. I would highly recommend this place and the awesome host! "

"We had a great stay at this property in Draper during our family spring break trip, which also included a tour of Virginia Tech. The location was perfect—less than an hour drive to campus. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a great base for both exploring the area and spending quality time together as a family. And the dogs absolutely loved the yard! Overall, a very positive experience—we’d definitely stay here again!"
