"Friendly service, great food comfortable rooms"

"Staff were amazing, room was beautiful and very well kept. Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that...

"First time stopping here, beautiful location, very friendly/ warm welcome , the room is 4/5 star, lovely decoration , everything you need , extremely clean and comfy bed, dined in the restaurant for evening meal and the food was huge portion and delicious, I had the steak and ale pie, my colleague the Steak , both plates polished off .i tend to go for hotel chains normally but stopping at the Ribchester arms has certainly opened my eyes to something better, without doubt if I get the chance...

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which...

"A really lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented throughout and very comfortable and clean rooms. I had a very large walk in shower which was perfect and I genuinely couldn't fault anything from the moment I walked in, to walking out. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, food was cooked to perfection. "

"Stayed one night only. The room was comfortable. Even though the heating was not on due to it supposedly being summer, as the room was a little cold we were able to turn on an electric wall heater to take the chill off the room & a blow heater in the bathroom. The quality and pricing of food and drink in the bar were excellent. The cooked breakfast was included, which was also delicious. Would definitely stay again."
