"Aachen House is a stunning historic building. Full of character and history . So much more interesting than a normal hotel room. My room was huge and comfortable with a balcony and a seperate bathroom. The bath was amazing."

"My son and I stayed for almost 2 weeks, and our stay with Tatiana was wonderful. The home was quiet, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a great location for easy travel around Auckland. Tatiana is a FABULOUS host!!"

"The Boathouse is so lovely! With a beautiful view over the water, it’s a self contained little house with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed the view, the chairs outside and the nautical theme inside! Francis was a great host with giving us recommendations on places and restaurants to go to, he made us feel very welcome."

"日本からです。施設も普通に綺麗で、惚れ惚れしました。 New Zealandは車社会(オークランドは特に) レンタカーを借りて来ましたが、無いときついかな。ネームタグを見ると日本人も宿泊していると思われるので、旅慣れした方や一人海外旅行してる方にはいい所だと思います。バスタブは🛁良かった👍 また来たら利用しようかな！"

"部屋はもちろん、リビングトイレなどの共有スペースの掃除をしてくれない、バスタオルやキッチンタオルの洗濯もしてくれないなど不衛生でストレスフルでした。あきらめて自分で洗った方がましと洗い、指示された場所に干したらバスタオルが戻ってこなかったり、服はスプリンクラーでびしょ濡れにされありなど本当に困りました。驚き嘆く私達に「自動のスプリンクラーなのよ」と笑って言われたことに、本当に腹が立ちました。エアコンもないため、窓を空けて出かけてましたが、夕方帰ると、カビ臭い匂いがしてきました。気分が悪くなり、他のホテルに移りたいと申し出ても、「移るのはどうぞ、返金はしません」という対応で、本当にストレスフルでした。 "

"The location is close to the Town and ferries. Very quiet. Would have loved a little kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities in our room. Hosts David and Tracy were fabulous very knowledgeable about the area."

"We loved this hotel - modern, accomodating staff and the best value for money we’ve come across. Added benefit is the restaurant on site (great breakfast) and a free to use laundry room. Only thing that was a negative for us is there is no thermostat/air conditioning in the rooms (there is a ducted fan system) but given the Auckland climate, it’s not too much of an issue. In close proximity to K-Road for a good selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy. We will be back. "
