"Good news : Everything from here is a downhill walk. Everything was clean, modern, and in good repair. My first floor single on the all female floor was very cozy. Window opened. Desk top fan provided. No air conditioning. The first day my room was VERY hot when I returned because the summer sun was beating into my room. "The new paint? and new carpet smells were very strong and I had a headache from the offgassing. Great kitchen- well stocked and great systems. The bunks are bunks- my top mate moved so much and shook my bed, I didn't sleep well for a couple of the nights I was there. Loved the recommendations they have all over. Excellent hostel."

"The place and kitchen was cleaned regularly. The rooms were small but had enough storage for luggage. I really liked that the beds had curtains, it helped make it feel less hostel like. The game room was often empty, guess that is a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. Over would definitely book and stay again."

"Was happy with the staff at United..unfortunately not so impressed with 'wotif' ( third party booking ).. Got to United only to find there was no room available ( one i had book 2 months in advance)..Had booking references Numbers and whats more ..i actually rang the hotel 2 minutes after i had made the booking ( just to confirm) and they said yes all is fine?? After a 45 minute wait while staff located us a room we had somewhere to stay..( myself and my two sons) one of which was flying out...
