"Feb 2023, 2024, 2025 we stayed for a couple nights at the Excelsior Palace and every time has been a great experience. Rooms are lovely, very comfortable, great amenities (we've been in 3 classifications: all were great). The breakfast buffet is wonderful: lots of choice including made to order items. The view from the dining room is gorgeous. The location is spectacular with views over the Med, infinity pools that hang out over the sea are wonderful - warm & there are both pool-side and indoor showers, changing rooms, a gym, etc.. LOVE that it's 10 minute walk into the heart of Rapallo 10 minute walk to beach restos in San Michele 25-30 min walk to Santa Margherita Bus stops at the foot of the hotel which runs from Santa Margherita train station to the Rapallo train station so if you overdo it, easy to hop on!
