"The location couldn’t be any better! It’s right outside of Genova Piazza Principe train station which makes it very convenient to travel from one city to the other by train while we were on vacation. It’s also within walking distance to the tourist attractions. The hotel lounge is beautifully decorated in Christmas theme and the hotel is full of old world charm but very clean and updated at the same time. I definitely will stay here again if I come back to Genova for a visit. "

"This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Even the people staying at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was great as well amd had a good variety of food to choose from. The room was comfortable and I had a huge balcony. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room. "

"Best view in Santa Margherita Ligure. Large balconies that you can enjoy a drink and the view from. Truly convenient central location. And if you need a snack they have ice creams, soft drinks etc in the foyer, open 24 hours for convenience. The perfect party place in summer."
