"The property is beautifully clean and very well presented, about 8 miles from busy Cangas De Onis in a very rural, small village in the hills. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. Most of the time the tiny village of Llano de Con is very peaceful, only being disturbed by cowbells or the barking of dogs and there is a local bar with shop attached so basic provisions are easily acquired. "Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"

"Nous avons passé deux nuits aux Pics Europa. Tranquillité et calme dans cette petite résidence dans un hameau un peu perdu. Superbe vue et terrasse très agréable. Hôte sympathique. Parfait. Nous n’avons pas pu aller aux lacs de Cadavonga car les bus étaient complets pour la journée."

"We enjoyed the property and loved its location. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay."

"We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."

"Quiet location with wonderful views from a huge terrace. Kitchen facilities to serve four people were very limited. Very little work surface and few utensils. Eg only three knives. Bedrooms, bathroom and living area were comfortable and spacious. Gave us opportunities for walking, bird watching and enjoying the countryside. However because of this isolated position there was not easy access to shopping for basics. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Estancia muy agradable con un bonito paseo por el campo a lo largo del rio. Cangas hasta a 45 minutos a pie y seis minutos en coche. La casa tiene un gran jardin que está genial para que los chicos juegen con la pelota y para cenar fuera."
