"Very happy with our stay in this property. Although basic it was adequately furnished for our needs. Aldea blanco is perfectly placed for beach or exploring the island. Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"Lovely property in a quiet location. Heated pool with total privacy with amazing views of the surounding hills. On road parking never an issue. Less than 10 minute drive or a easy 45 minute walk (on paths) to get to the many restaurants and choice of two supermarkets in Puerto Mogan. "Fabulous villa with loads of outdoor space. We were 12 friends and it suited our needs. If you wanted some quiet time there were lots of places to escape to. Lovely large pool that we all enjoyed. Great eating area outside but undercover where we were able to barbecue. Also has a fridge and heaters if needed. Pedro left a few treats for us as we arrived which were very welcome. Only a short walk to Ingenio which we did quite a lot to have a morning coffee or a meal in the evening. A car...

"The property was surprisingly large vs the impression from the pictures with loads of sitting and lounging areas. It was quite cluttered with the owner's things - extra linen and towels, books, ornaments etc - which some people would like as homely; our preference would have been for a bit more pared-back. "We stayed in property 2 for a week and it was just perfect. Elba and her family were really easy to communicate and connect with, the place was spotless with all the extras we needed like kettle, iron, charging ports ….. the grounds are also beautiful with lots of fruits growing and access to a walking route right from the back of the property. "We had a delightful time staying in Luca and Lucia's lovely casita. They were excellent hosts very warm and welcoming and accommodating. Perfect location with easy access to beautiful nature and walks as well access to local supermercados within walking distance and the buzzy "downtown" of Valle Gran Rey offering good bakeries, fresh fish at the puerto. Also enjoyed late afternoons swimming in the warm ocean and relaxing on the playa after a long walk.Thank you too to Heike for coordinating. "

"If you want a quiet stay in the mountains, in a beautifully restored old house, then this is for you. I loved this place, especially once I got the fire going and a good meal with wine. It is like going back in time, so much character and tasteful antique decor. Its only a 7 min drive to the coast road. There are tapas bars near by which I didn't try, as was happy to cook. "We really enjoyed our week here, a very nice traditional Casa, spacious and comfortable. The manager is very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with. There are many nice walks that one can do from the doorstep, and the views across the valley are very scenic. And Santa Lucia with its restaurants and shops is just a few minutes away. "
