"Fabulous location - near to the beach, in an area that feels safe but is a short walk to the high street and a 15 minute walk into central Brighton. Xavier was really helpful at all times. Beds were comfy and rooms spacious. Bathroom was a little ‘shabby chic’ and everything worked well, including the shower. My son loved the hidden room on the top floor!We really enjoyed our stay and it felt very homely and comfortable. "

"Good location for buses, easy parking, welcoming host. Room was spacious and clean. No mirror in bedroom. Shared bathroom was dirty, lots of hairs. Biggest downside was no lock on bedroom door."

"The house was great for our party of 2 families. We had plenty of space and the house is very well equipped. A lovely clean house and great communication with the host. We enjoyed exploring the local area and the house was located well for this. The driveway down had lots of bumps and pot holes which you need to be careful of especially in the dark but other than this wouldn’t change a thing."

"The property really couldn’t have been any better for our weekend celebrating my sister’s hen party. The location was perfect - central, seconds from the sea and near to all of our planned activities. The communal areas were fantastic, especially the large dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Excellent communication with the host too, thank you!"

"The house is well sized and spacious with a lovely terrace. It's one of the best kitted out kitchens I've stayed at, we could comfortably cook for 8 of us both nights and it's well placed with buses and a walk into the city centre for exploring. I highly recommend the house."

"We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, and the amenities were top-notch.The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and it was clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort."

"Beautiful barn had all we needed for a wonderful, relaxed stay. Only fault was the garden was quite grubby; the table and chairs hadn't been cleaned from the previous people, as there was still an ashtray full of cigarette ends on the table. I had to wipe down the chairs by the hot tub before we could sit down and enjoy our evening. Only a minor fault, but I feel like the outside should be as clean as the inside. "We are a group of 5 ladies who have been friends for 35 years and love our weekends away . Rye is a fabulous place and the house in a perfect location in Rye. The house has been decorated and designed so well with plenty of space for 5.Maybe a little snug in the sitting room but we managed to get cosy. "Very friendly staff and a great location for what we needed! I was doing Brighton Marathon so was a good distance from the start and finish lines with loads of places to eat leading up to the event! The room were great and had all I needed for the weekend! I will be staying again! :-)"

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

The best of Brighton

"This is my favourite hotel and if could take it to where I am staying I would! The bed is the most comfortable I have had. We stay in the same disabled access room and it is just right. The wet room bathroom is good a bit tired but ok. Having stayed twice in 2 weeks I noticed this is the one place we return to that I know I am going to relax and sleep well in. Great location on the seafront but also a five minute walk into the heart of Brighton shopping and food. 2 minutes from the Brighton centre and an easy stroll to the Dome and Palace theatre. What more could you want "

"I loved that the hotel was close to the lanes and the seafront, there are lots of places to eat nearby too! The owner was lovely and was nice that they had the pub next door too so I did pop by for a drink. Inside the hotel had what I needed like kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate and the only thing I can think of that would of made it would of if it had a mini fridge so I could store drinks etc inside. I had a wonderful time here with no problems at all and I would stay again."
