"We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful oasis with our young kids! We were delighted by the personal welcome from the property owner and enjoyed all the home had to offer including all of the kid friendly ammenities. Our whole family enjoyed a grilled dinner and movie night on the patio too! Large, open and cozy home in the perfect beach location. Our kids didn't want to leave and we hope to be back for a visit again soon. Thank you! "

"Overall the house was great! Had a great time being close to the beach! The layout of the house was perfect for the group we had. I do have a few suggestions. with the cost, you should provide the toiletries, paper towels, and daily cleaning solutions. More towels were needed (mainly wash cloths) for the number of people it stays. for an extra touch beds could use either 2 more pillows or bigger ones. "

"The distance from stores and restaurants was a bit far since we didn't drive. However, the bikes provided made it easy to bike to nearby restaurants. Although the house and decor seemed a bit dated, our overall stay was great, and the location was perfect. We're already looking forward to returning."

"We loved our stay at the Gumbo Bungalow!Super easy to check in, lots of great things to do in the area.So close to the beach and plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Even included everything we needed for our 1 year old grandson.The pool was fabulous, our grandchildren and young adults alike swam every day."

"For the rate we paid, it would have been nice to have some of the little things "vamped up a bit" for instance, the toilet paper and paper towels were the lowest quality. The dishes, utensils were not clean. It's as if the cleaning staff are not required to check these items before each new guest.The carpet was badly stained upstairs, perhaps owner should contemplate replacing, or lowering the nightly rate.the location was amazing! the private garage and elevator were special perks! Overall, ok,...

"Our family left wrapping paper on the floor of our home and escaped to the beach for a time away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas.It was wonderful and needed. We played on the beach during the day and at night we played pool, darts and we put puzzles together and played board games.., it was a great time for all.I would recommend this rental for any family interested in getting away and reconnecting. "
