"Staff at reception, restaurant and also breakfast were all amazing. Housekeeping also came to make a bed up after a room change and was lovely and friendly. Whole place was immaculate. Spa was busier than we would’ve liked so struggled for a sunlounger, room was too warm too."

"A beautiful hotel. The staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Room was perfect, clean, spacious, complimentary drinks and snacks. Reception smelt lovely when you entered 😄 only 10 mins walk into the centre of historic Chester. Would definitely stay here again 👍"

"The room was amazing had everything we needed, it was very spacious clean comfortable. We booked for evening dining it was very busy so make sure you do that in an evening just incase. check in ran smoothly we had early check in and late check out which we paid extra for we also paid for breakfast at the time of check in and was told our 7 year old was free we settled the whole bill at the time. Then on check out we were then told there was an outstanding amount for breakfast which caused some confusion and embarrassment to us infront of other guests as they had over charged with no apology by which time they had already charged my card but all got resolved. That said this is a lovely hotel to stay in."
