"First time to the area. Easy to get to all three of the parks from the cabin. Pipestem is a beautiful park right acoss the road.The cabin was well equipped with blankets, towels & more . "My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. Each evening and morning we would sit and watch a group of deer that would walk down the hillside easement and eat the acorns that had fallen from the oaks on the property. "The cabin was a great spot for us to unwind. Easy to find, quiet area and clean. We had a great time hiking in the resort across the road and driving through the country seeing the sights. Communication with the owners was always courteous and prompt. 5 stars and would recommend!"

"We came for a wedding at Pipestem Resort State Park. We all had the option of staying at the resort, however we chose otherwise. It was so cozy and such a cute little cabin. We enjoyed having our own space and being able to have our own bedroom. The host has thought of everything that anyone could possibly need. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The scenery is breathtaking!! Highly highly recommend this place!"

"This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The property is so beautiful and private. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. I only wish we had a little more time to relax by the firepit and enjoy the soothing sounds of the stream that runs along the property."

"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

"I am usually apprehensive about property pictures. The pictures always outdo the actual property. This was different in that the place was better than the pictures! Very happy with my stay!!"

"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"
