"I was not feeling well and they were very nice to me. The meals were great especially the banana pancakes for breakfast. They just let me hibernate in my room while getting over whatever crud I'd picked up. Room was clean and adequate for a single person. I could control the AC which was nice, not being used to a tropical climate. I would love to go back when I was healthy to see more of Bali."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. The bathroom was spacious. The pool area is stunning with plants surrounding the pool giving the ground floor rooms privacy and giving the pool area a really tropical feel. Free...

"Near market but secluded a bit. Be prepared for animal noise at night. I did not eat there as better options within walking distance in central Ubud. Something that I not at 2 hotels in Ubud is when you put the sign clean my room’ and go out, they don’t clean the room but turn the card that say ‘do not disturb’. Then they say they didn’t clean because of the sign. "

"The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap"

"Very reasonably priced and good value for price. Laundry service was also very good and inexpensive. Breakfast was very good. Central location made it walkable to several restaurants. No air conditioning and street noise was quite loud were the downsides. "

"We stayed for 4 days. Room was great. Clean. Big, comfy bed. Air con can get a bit warm on hot days. Staff are friendly. It has pool and restaurant / bar right in the beach so breakfast with a view every day. The area is quiet. Gym is adequate. Weights 1-10 kg, a couple of treadmills and other cardio equipments, mat. "Absolutely stunning! What a wonderful and unique gem. Staff went above and beyond, attentive to all our needs, clean room and bathroom, coolest bathroom ever! Firm bed and pillows but I don't mind, provided toiletries and delicious options for breakfast. Infinity pool was a bonus! I totally recommend. Manager and staff do a wonderful job maintaining property in wonderful shape. I'm already making plans to return to this adorable wooden villa. "

"Exceptional Hotel Brilliant staff- Can not get better customer service anywhere. Staff went out of their way to ensure that both my wife and I had an absolute luxurious experience The Hotel is in a superb location right in the centre of Ubud yet it feels like you are in the middle of nature. The breakfast was excellent and the the staff at the breakfast bar were brilliant, professional, caring and extremely friendly. Mi would rate this hotel as exceptional and definitely a luxury 5 star hotel "

"We left yesterday and I miss the place already :( The staff (front reception, kitchen, housekeeping, garden maintenance, pool guy) so very warm and friendly! The place is tranquil and relaxing with everything you need there, a quaint little coffee shop and humble laundromat are just across the street. The breakfast is 5 a la carte choices of American, continental, Indonesian, Indian and healthy hippy. My husband and I will definitely be back! Thank you so much Sankara staff for making our wedding anniversary so special We stayed in the villa with private pool, which was maintained and cleaned to perfection everyday, the fruit basket was replenished daily too. "
