"My husband and I stayed at Ayung Resort Ubud for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We had booked a Valley Pool Villa, but were kindly upgraded to a Royal Rainforest Villa, which was a lovely surprise. The villa was extremely spacious, making us feel tiny. The swimming pool and gardens were immaculately maintained. We used the outdoor pool daily and spent most of our time at the resort, visiting the restaurant three nights in a row. We also tried the complimentary afternoon tea service twice, which was a nice touch because we never experience that in the U.S. The restaurant server, Gosenadi, told us that the chef, a Ubud native, had won a cooking competition in Singapore. It makes sense because his food was way better than what we normally get from a lot of restaurants in U.S. We mainly tried Balinese cuisine, and my husband enjoyed the barbecue pork ribs recommended by Gosenadi and Adreani. I loved the beetroot salad, and the fresh vegetables, which my husband, who grew up on a farm, also praised. Gosenadi informed us that all produce served at Ayung was locally grown. We used the spa, which was reasonably priced and staffed by professional and kind therapists. After our long flights from Chicago (took two days to get there), we needed a relaxation massage. Our room had excellent WiFi, allowing me to work on my laptop without issues. We loved the staff at Ayung Resort the most; they were always smiling and accommodating. We felt treated like royalty."

The check-in process was quick and efficient, and I was greeted with a smile and even offered a welcome drink. The room was absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the comforts I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the room was breathtaking, making it the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. I also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, where the food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail from the staff. "We stayed here while we are at UBUD. They are very friendly and well-maintained hotel. I loved the staffs who was very kind and nice! They also have pretty garden and swimming pool. But we didn’t have a chance to get in there. Tell you the truth, you have no time to stay at the hotel because the city is too much things to do. There was a small sewer issues but they came and fix right away. Only one concern was the air conditioning system. Likely other south Asian countries, they don’t clean the filter that often so it could smell fungus a little bit. But it was much better than other hotels. Breakfast area was authentic and nice!! They are not the buffet style but the quality of the food was healthy and yum!!! We loved it! I think I wanna stay here again when I visit Bali next time! "

"An absolute must do for any animal lovers or families with kids! We had an amazing experience - African animals roaming around just outside your bedroom, safari tour, infinity pool, animal shows, breakfast with the lions and meerkats, friendly staff - what’s not to love! "
