"Loved the outdoor bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable. I like that there are only ~10 villas on site. Lovely breakfast served on the balcony each morning. Friendly staff. The only problem was that there was a lot of plastic and rubbish burn-off every day happening next door. This is not the hotels fault. However, every time we went outside to our bathroom, the smell was really bad and felt very unhealthy breathing it in. "

"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

Access was a mission with 282 steps (yes we counted) and with the rain we had to wait for it to stop so we could venture out. "We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room.
