"The property is amazing....i can see why its named the 8th wonder of the world. The home is biult right into huge rocks but you dont feel like you are in a cave. Robert has designed this home beautifully and uniquely. I would recommend you take advantage of his culinary skills and have him cook you a meal upon your arrival. It was soooo good....and a lot of food!!!! Pasta...braised ribs...roased artichoke...fresh cheese bread....house salad with home made dressing...shrimp...

"Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. "Came to Turrialba for the Canyons- but fell in love with this place. The deck was incredible, great place for mornings- watching the Tucan, watching the clouds roll by all from a comfy chair. The hot tub was a rare novelty. I spent time in other cities in CR, but this place is incredible. Absolutely will be back!"

"We spent three nights enjoying the area. Brian was totally responsive and also guided us w his farm manager Emilio on a horse back ride around the farm which was beautiful. He was able to tell us the history of the valley and about domed the wildlife we saw. Days were sunny, evenings overcast and we had lovely cool nights. "This place was way up in the Pinilla Highlands but such a cool little spot. The pool had leaves in ot due to the winds but was very clean unlike some places we have stayed. The host was very responsive and the property was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful little getaway. You could also see the howler money when you walked to the pool. The road getting to this little gem was a bit rough so you need a 4x4 vehicle for sure. Really close to Avellanas beach area and restaurants. A big plus!"
