"Clean warm friendly. Restaurant and pub downstairs didnt notice it being any noisy upstairs in the room. Bed was comfortable four poster. Room spacious and tall with large window viewing street below and losehill opposite worth a walk along with mam tor at the other end. Free car park opposite the hotel."

The pub had a great ambiance with a lot of locals calling in for a drink. Our room was warm, a good size & pleasantly furnished. We will definitely stay there again. "

"In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire . Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Would certainly recommend it. "
