"No 12 is a good choice for a short stay in attractive North Berwick. It’s centrally located, convenient for beaches, the Seabird centre etc . Service is functional more than polished. My single room serviceable not elegant. Breakfast, included, sets you up for the day."

"Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again. The best thing about this hotel is the people and the outstanding service they provide-nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Ooh- and good food including a fab breakfast. "

"The room was very spacious and clean but lack of attention to basic needs ie: no bath mat or hand towels let it down a bit. Also a big problem is that they do not accept payment by card and have no eating facilities on site."
