"One of the best hostels we have stayed in. We had a private room, which was large and we had plenty of room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic, in the middle of the city centre. Unfortunately, it is an old building and sound travels around it. Our room was next to a door and we could hear it banging closed all night as others moved around the hostel. The hostel does supply free ear plugs, which helped somewhat. "Was cheap and cheerful. Small bed but was fine for a night. Reception had free earplugs etc and lovely Staff. Would stay again Only bad part was the closest parking we could get was a 10 Min walk "

"It was a really conveniant place to stay in Edinburgh. Not too far from the bus or the tramway, and there is always someone from the staff on site."

"The staff were great. The place was a very close walk to the tram , which was amazing for getting around the city. The place was clean and the building felt secure. As a student dorm , it was as expected, nothing flashy but that’s all that was needed to enjoy the city. There is a grocery store and a Starbucks very close which was also very convenient. "

"Comfortable walk ro Princess Street, Castle , shops, pubs etc There is a bus stop right outside the door if walking is not an option The one suggestion I would make is for guests to bring eye madks, as the curtains are very thin and the outside street lights shine right into the bedrooms facing the front street Kitchen is very well equipped, showers have good water pressure, lots of hot water, "
