"The property was PERFECT in accommodating our large family - it was quite a feat getting all of us together to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday! Both houses were clean and extremely comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for were provided, from extra towels to lots of ping pong balls and paddles. The hearth in the main house was gorgeous and cozy. The location of the property was great for us. Secluded and quiet, with a short walk down to the lake. We were gifted perfect fall weather...

"Within walking distance of Canal Park and the beach. Very nice clean house with all the amenities. "

"Overall, we really enjoyed it! There was some glass in the backyard and that worried us with having the dogs so we had to pick most of it up. Not having air conditioning on the main level was a real bummer. We made it work with fans and it wasn’t too hot for part of the trip but we definitely could have used some AC downstairs. But the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were very nice. The main level was perfect for us and our dogs. We loved the fenced in backyard. The location is great...

"We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and the pictures were very accurate. The listing stated check in is at 3:30 but we were then we were told three days prior check in was 4:00. An accurate check in time would have been helpful as we traveled from New jersey and we were more than ready to check in when we arrived .Also, we had to contact owner to get in as original code we received did not work upon arrival. Overall, excellent location and very clean. "

"This is the second time that I have stayed here “on vacation” with my out-of-town guests. It took me 30+ years living near the North Shore to figure out that I could be “on vacation” too… IF we didn’t stay at my house! "We enjoyed our stay, especially the deck. It was just my husband and I so we only used the downstairs of the house which was clean and comfortable. There is still construction in front of the house which was a bummer for the view but it was very quiet. Would stay here again. "
