"We didn't actually stay here because the host never responded to more than 2 weeks of communication by my and Vrbo.I reached out to extend the stay a day. No response for 5 straight days of messages. Vrbo emailed and called them multiple times with no response. I followed up with calls, messages, and even finding them on LinkedIn.Still no response, even after the trip date came and went. 0/10, do not recommend as this host is approving trips but is utterly non-responsive. "Easy drive to downtown Birmingham. Older neighborhood, mostly quiet. Large, dog friendly, partially fenced yard. The main bathroom is very nice, and the house is roomy, but does have a few minor maintenance issues. Furniture and beds could use upgrading. Kitchen is nice, but only has very basic cookware; no toaster, spatulas, colander, etc. Adequate washer/dryer, linens/ towels. This was a better option than a hotel for our group."

"The room was really nice. I had any questions that I asked answered & pretty quickly. The instructions for getting to the room were very detailed. The only complaint (which isn’t due to the host) would be that the elevators in the parking deck to the hotel didn’t work. We thankfully only parked on the 2nd floor. There weren’t a lot of stairs but we had 3 suitcases & a bag to carry. It would have taken two trips regardless. Thankfully bf was there to help, I wouldn’t have been able to do it...
