"The owners are very nice but the area not so much. Definitely not some place to go outside after sundown. The infrastructure sucks. We were without power for hours, the roads around it were horrible. The room was freezing and you could easily count every spring in the mattress. Privacy doesn't seem to be very important to them as the shared bathrooms and shower didn't have locks. For claiming to be a resort and charging a resort fee the place isn't worth the money,"

"The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful views from every room make this place a win each time! Breakfast with a frontline view to the Pacific Ocean is a treat each morning. Note that the hotel is a little older and has some maintenance issues but you cannot beat the vibe and location, sipping on a margarita in the infinity pool. We’ve always found them to be very kid friendly as well. "
