"Mixed review: Very nice and helpful staff. There is very little to do in the center of Palenque. If staying again, I would stay at one of the nice hotels on the road out to the ruins. There was only one outlet in the room for all o fly devices. The room was old and definitely not sound proof with windows that let noise in. I could hear everything going on in the main plaza nearby, including the band and military recognition that started at 7 am one morning."

"This hotel offers basic accommodation, with a pretty roof garden, at a good price, but nothing more. That's fine, but travelers should be aware of a few things: 1. The hotel only accepts cash. Make sure that you have sufficient Mexican currency to pay for your entire stay at check-in. 2.
