"The husband & I do not care for the big cities & towns. So Jaunita’s Cabin was just right. It’s cozy. It’s comfortable. It’s delightful.It’s right close to the Ocklawaha River which is awesome.Salt Springs just down the road. Fabulous.If you want city-like conveniences and attractions, choose elsewhere. "Nice. Very nice. Growing up across the road from Lake Hutchinson, on Lake Opal, 1964-1974, made the visit to Lake Hutchinson nostalgic to say the least. Beautiful place & great amenities here. The Lake Hutchinson views and the Spanish Moss waving in the Oak trees rekindled fond memories - while sitting indoors, watching the sunrise from bed, or sitting outdoors on the deck. Unfortunately, it was cold outside, but the cabin is well heated. I’ll be back."

"The house was spotless and the property so beautiful! We saw horses, armadillos, a gator, a gopher tortoise, and many birds and butterflies. Plus, several of the flowering trees were in bloom! The gameroom was a hit - we would definitely stay there again!"

"Our family enjoyed staying in this cabin - so close to the Lodge, swimming pools and playground. Even with all of the activity is was quiet and restful. The kitchen was well supplied, comfortable beds and bedding...plus extra towels for the pool! LOVE the large TV screen! We will be back next year!"

"The road leading to the house is very bumpy, but don’t let that fool you. The house is very nice. As soon as we walked in, I felt completely at home. Much better than a hotel/motel. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful. There is a Dollar General close by, in case you need any supplies. We went to the Hawthorne Cafe for breakfast. Very nice people and good food. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this location. I highly recommend it."

"Since I booked, Mary was very kind and helpful. We really felt welcome to the cottage and the neighborhood. Also, she made us feel very special leaving a card and some goodies because of our 14th Anniversary. It was very clean and organized and it was really above our expectations. We are planning to come back soon and to bring more members of our family. "
