"We had a beautiful stay here in Paihia. Great location, beautiful home and super relaxing. Perfect base for day trips to Russell and up to Matauri Bay. Convenient to get into town but the house and views were so comfortable after days out that we were happy to relax and regroup. Only slight negative comment is that we found the upper bunk bed not suitable for an adult (even though my son is slight build) which we had assumed it might be so kids doubled up. Otherwise perfect stay. "

"We really enjoyed staying here. Great indoor outdoor flow with spacious verandah, plenty of space for young children to play, and they enjoyed the box of toys. Good outlook, and birdsong including kiwi. Swimming beach just down the road, and good walks thrpugh bush to Russell and onto Tapeka point. Quick drive to Russell. Really recommend! "

The only note I have is that it’s not super clear which front entrance is which (the home is split in to 2 rentals), so we almost walked in to the wrong home. "Our team of 15 teachers stayed for one night while up North on a professional development weekend. The house was a convenient location and a good size. Our only disappointment was that some rooms were locked meaning that our teachers had to share beds. We had anticipated that the entire house would be available to us and therefore extra beds and bedrooms in the cottage. Other than that we had a lovely stay.
