"Stayed on a Saturday evening. After travelling and a long day I was looking forward to a rest. The room was clean but no remote for the tv and the toilet seat was broken. I spoke to the staff and nothing materialised to sort either. Also there was entertainment which I wasn’t aware of so it was very noisy, especially as I was directly above them. "The property itself was well kept, clean, and had good utilities. Parking was not at all clear, since it seemed to be in a permit-only area so I parked about 10 minutes away on foot. Strange area to stay in, but again, the place itself was nice and well kept."

"Great little place, easy to get to and within easy distance of the city centre, public transport etc. Room was clean, cosy and bed was comfortable. Directions to get in were precise and easy to follow and in all a great place to stay. Would use again and would recommend."

"A fantastic stay i had at aabba guest house in Whitley Bay. I was made immediately welcome by the owners which was great. My room was just what i needed. The bathroom & shower facilities down the hallway were clean & spotless. There's a newsagents immediately next door which is handy, which is also run by the owners. Whitley Bay Town Centre & Seafront, are a short walk away. Bus 309 from Newcastle Upon Tyne To Blyth passes through Whitley Bay at around every 20 minutes. A daysaver is like £6.80...

"Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. "Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "

"Great central Newcastle location stayed 1 night Friendly check in at reception easy online check out. Tv lounge bar good. Room good size and bed very comfortable. Only drawback was no onsite parking which couldn’t be helped due to its central location. Tip do a deal with Q car parks for above 24 hour stay as we had reschedule our plans to ensure we left the car park under 24 hrs to avoid unnecessary charges.as the car park was not available next day to continue to park. This was Sat/Sun 16/17 Nov - not a match day. "
